I have a scooter
A scooter so nifty
Piaggio Vespa PX 150
I start it up and then I ride
I go to Roberta’s and I wait outside
She heard me coming and she gets excited
She rushes out to me because she knows she’s invited
She greets me with a kiss and then she gets on the back
She wraps her arms around me and straps her shoes to the rack
And when we go the engine goes putt putt putt
Fast and slow the engine goes putt putt putt
Worry is no worry when I am on my Vespa
Life is no hurry when I am on my Vespa
No matter where I am going I look forward to going
The Vespa is speeding, but my years are slowing
I am a young man and I will be young forever
Thanks to my Vespa, I will age never
